Elderly man killed in roof collapse after rain in Khushab

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Mar, 2026) A man died after the roof of a mud-built veranda collapsed following heavy rainfall in Khushab,rescue officials said on Monday.

District Emergency Officer Ali Hussain said that the Rescue control room received a call at 6:18am reporting the incident in Mohalla Hafiz Diwan.

The victim, identified as Owais(70) was trapped under the debris.

Rescue teams reached the spot and retrieved the body,which was later handed over to the family.

Officials added that two goats also died after being buried under the collapsed structure.
