PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jun, 2026) A firing incident inside a Sikh Gurdwara in Babu Mohalla, Mardan on Wednesday resulted in the deaths of two people.
According to police, 70-year-old Jagannath and his wife, who were responsible for the security and care of the Gurdwara were fatally shot during the attack.

A Rescue 1122 medical team shifted the bodies to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for legal formalities and further investigation.
Police have launched an investigation to trace and arrest the attackers.
