PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2026) Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (PESCO) spokesperson here Wednesday clarified that electricity demand in PESCO region is 934 megawatts, and supply is meeting the demand of consumers.
In a statement here, he said there is currently no shortfall, which is why no forced load management is being carried out.
"If demand increases and creates a shortfall, an additional one to two hours of load management may be implemented.
Electricity supply remained better last night, with only a few areas experiencing one to two hours of load management.
PESCO Chief Akhtar Hameed Khan is monitoring power transmission moment by moment.
The PESCO power distribution center is working 24 hours a day to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply to consumers, the spokesperson concluded.
