Electricity excessive supply: domestic goods damaged

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th May, 2026) Domestic goods of several houses had been damaged because of electricity over supply

in Noor Colony area of the city.

According to Rescue 1122, excessive current supply in the main electricity wires caused electrical appliances in several homes to burn out, while in one house, electrical equipment caught fire, which spread and burned the beds and things present in the room.

No loss of life was reproted.

Soon after receiving information, the rescue staff reached the scene and carried out firefighting operations and successfully brought the fire under control.
