EU-Pak Friendship Federation hosts Marka-e-Haq celebration in Barcelona

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) The EU-Pak Friendship Federation Spain organized a grand programme in Barcelona to celebrate Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyanun Marsoos.

The event marked one of the largest gatherings of overseas Pakistanis in Europe with a massive turnout from diverse communities.

A large number of participants, including overseas Pakistanis, members of the Kashmiri community and Arab nationals joined the celebrations with enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.

The participants carried flags of Pakistan and Kashmir, along with portraits of Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, said a press release issued here Sunday.

Perveiz Iqbal Lohsar, on the occasion, said that Pakistan’s Armed Forces had given a strong response to Indian aggression in 2025 and successfully countered hostile actions against the country.

He praised the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and commended the professionalism and preparedness of Pakistan’s armed forces.

Dr. Lohsar emphasized that Pakistan seeks peace in the region but remained fully capable of defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity against any future aggression.

The event concluded with renewed expressions of unity, patriotism and solidarity among overseas Pakistanis and supporters of Pakistan and Kashmir living across Europe.
