HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Mar, 2026) On the instructions of Sindh Provincial Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Syed Zulfikar Ali Shah, on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramazan, an exhibition of Islamic calligraphy was organized at the Zafar Kazmi Art and Craft Gallery of Sindh Museum, Hyderabad.
In the exhibition, modern art pieces were presented by the students, in which the spiritual beauty of Islamic art and the great heritage of Islamic calligraphy were also highlighted.
Appreciating this effort, the purpose of the exhibition was to enlighten the students, teachers and common people about the timeless art of Islamic calligraphy.
On the last day of the exhibition today, March 14, 2026, the director of Sindh Museum Hyderabad, Zulfikar Ali Panhwar, distributed certificates to the best calligraphers and lauded their artistic skills.
On this occasion, he said that Islamic calligraphy is an important part of our civilized and cultural identity and such programs play an important role in connecting the young generation with their cultural traditions.
