Facilitation desk set up for recruitment of MOs, dental surgeons in Dera region

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Apr, 2026) Commissioner Daud Khan has directed that the entire recruitment process for medical officers and dental surgeons be carried out with complete transparency and strictly on merit to provide equal opportunities to competent candidates.

He was chairing a meeting to review ongoing recruitment process to fill vacant positions in the health department.

In this regard a facilitation desk has been set up at the Commissioner Office in Dera Ismail Khan to support the recruitment process for medical officers and dental surgeons across the division.

The meeting was attended by the Regional Director General Health South, Additional Commissioner, Assistant to Commissioner (Political and Development) Sajjad Baloch, and other relevant officials.

It was told that the recruitment drive aims to improve healthcare services and ensure timely medical facilities for the public.

The commissioner directed that the entire recruitment process be carried out with complete transparency and strictly on merit to provide equal opportunities to competent candidates.

He emphasized the need for hiring skilled and professional individuals to further strengthen healthcare delivery in the region.

Authorities were instructed to complete all stages of the process, including receipt of applications, scrutiny, and shortlisting, within the stipulated timeframe.

Applicants have been advised to submit their applications according to the prescribed procedure along with all required documents, as incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.

The meeting also stressed the importance of effective monitoring of the recruitment process to eliminate any chances of irregularities or complaints.
