FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Mar, 2026) The divisional administration has set a practical example of austerity by minimising the use of official vehicles during field visits in compliance with the directives of Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz.

Divisional Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Captain (Retired) Nadeem Nasir along with senior officers including Director General FDA, Managing Director PHA, Chief Officer Municipal Corporation and Director Development conducted visits to D-Ground, Samanabad and other areas by using a single vehicle.

During visits, the officials reviewed ongoing public welfare projects and inspected development initiatives in different parts of the city.

Speaking on the occasion, the divisional commissioner said that in view of the prevailing fuel situation, the efforts were being made to ensure minimum use of official vehicles.

He said that adopting a single-vehicle policy for official visits would help conserve fuel while maintaining administrative efficiency.

He directed divisional and district officers across all four districts to adopt austerity measures and follow the same practice to ensure optimal utilization of resources.
