Faisalabadis to observe ‘Earth Hour’ on March 28

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Mar, 2026) Faisalabadis will also observe ‘Earth Hour’ on March 28, like elsewhere in other parts of the country.

All types of lights will be turned off for an hour from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm on the day to create environmental awareness among common man about energy conservation.

The Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar said here Friday that collective efforts are vital to provide a safe and clean environment to the young generation.

He said that the aim of Earth Hour is to create awareness among the general public regarding the effective and careful use of energy.

He appealed to the citizens to participate in the energy conservation campaign and turned their lights off for an hour on March 28.
