Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Nauman Siddique, who took a round of the city covering streets and mohallahs on Wednesday to monitor the process here Wednesday, said that underprivileged families in Multan have started receiving the financial assistance to help ease their daily household expenses during the sacred month of Ramazan. He added that more than 190,000 Nigahban Ration Cards had reached Multan, and their phased distribution is under way.

Teams of the district administration are delivering the cards directly to eligible beneficiaries at the neighbourhood and street level across the city to ensure transparency and accessibility.
