Farewell ceremony held for retiring police inspector

Rawalpindi Police on Wednesday organized a farewell ceremony in honour of retiring Inspector Aslam Shehzad at Police Lines Headquarters

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Apr, 2026) Rawalpindi Police on Wednesday organized a farewell ceremony in honour of retiring Inspector Aslam Shehzad at Police Lines Headquarters.

The ceremony was attended by SSP Operations Malik Tariq Mehboob, SSP Investigation Nasir Ali Khan, Regional Officers PHP, SP CIA and SP Headquarters, along with other senior officers.

Speaking on the occasion, the officers paid tribute to the services of Inspector Aslam Shehzad, acknowledging his dedication and contributions to the department.

“You have been a valuable asset to Rawalpindi Police and your services will always be remembered,” said SSP Operations Malik Tariq Mehboob.

SSP Investigation Nasir Ali Khan congratulated the retiring officer on completing a successful career.

At the end of the ceremony, the officers presented a commemorative shield and bouquets to the retiring inspector and bid him farewell with official honour.
