Farewell party held on retirement of SMIU's Additional Registrar

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2026) Sindh Madressatul islam University's Additional Registrar Qasim Ali Khuwaja has retired from service on attaining age of superannuation here on Friday.

A farewell party was arranged in honour of the SMIU- Additional Registrar which was attended by the Vice Chancellor Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai and other senior professors and officers of the varsity.

Addressing the ceremony, Dr Mujeeb Sahrai paid rich tribute to the retiring officer for his services rendered in the Sindh Madressatul Islam.

Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai said that after retirement, a separate life begins, which should also be made effective.

Addressing the event organized by the Sindh Madressatul Islam University Officers Association, the president of the association, Abdul Waheed Jatoi, said that Qasim Ali Khuwaja worked with great honesty and integrity at SMIU.

Qasim Ali Khuwaja also thanked Vice Chancellor Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai, Abdul Waheed Jatoi, and other officers for giving him such respect.

On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai presented Qasim Ali Khawaja with an Ajrak and a shield in recognition of his services.
