Fashion festival to spotlight heritage

Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Division, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi has praised the organisers of the forthcoming Isloo International Fashion Tourism Festival 2026 at the unveiling of its official logo, describing the initiative as a significant step towards promoting Pakistan's tourism and cultural sectors.

Addressing ambassadors, guests and young participants at the ceremony held at the Silk Road Culture Centre, Sir Syed Hall, the minister said it was a privilege to attend such an inspiring and impressive event.

He commended the creativity behind the newly unveiled green logo, calling it a symbol of growth, vitality and innovation.

Khichi remarked that the main festival would stand as a testament to Pakistan's tourism potential and acknowledged the role of Royal Rovers in advancing fashion tourism in the country.

Highlighting the importance of fashion as a powerful medium for presenting Pakistan's rich heritage to the world, he noted that the fusion of traditional elements with modern trends offers a compelling narrative of the country's cultural identity.

He appreciated the organisers' efforts in introducing emerging designers and artists, describing it as a demanding yet commendable responsibility undertaken by Royal Rovers.

The minister urged ambassadors to encourage the participation of young people from their respective countries in the festival. He said such initiatives would not only promote fashion tourism globally but also foster cultural understanding and collaboration among youth from diverse nations.

According to the organisers, the Isloo International Fashion Tourism Festival 2026 aims to empower Pakistani youth and skilled students by providing them with an international platform.
