Fatal road accident claims life in Chiniot

CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2026) A tragic road accident on Monday near Jhang Road in Taqiabad claimed the life of a 44-year-old man after his car collided with a harvester, rescue officials said.

According to Rescue 1122, emergency teams rushed to the scene immediately after receiving the alert and shifted the critically injured driver to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.

Despite efforts to save him, the victim—identified as Usman Ali, son of Muhammad Hussain and a resident of Jhang—succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

Rescue officials completed necessary formalities and moved the body to the hospital. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
