Father and son killed, another injured in Haripur firing

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Mar, 2026) A man along with his son was killed while another person was seriously injured when armed assailants fired at an auto rickshaw in Haripur district on Thursday.

According to police, the incident occurred in Darwesh area of the district, where unidentified assailants opened fire on a moving rickshaw killing the father and son on the spot.

Another person sustained severe injuries and was immediately

shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

The deceased have been identified as Abdul Razzaq and his son Iftikhar, residents of Kag area.

Police reached the scene, collected evidence and launched an investigation into the incident.
