Father, two sons convicted in stepbrother’s murder

BUREWALA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Apr, 2026) Additional District and Sessions Judge Syed Muhammad Umar on Thursday convicted a man and his two sons on charge of killing his stepbrother over a minor dispute.

According to prosecution, accused Manzoor, along with his sons Ghulam Abbas and Nasir, had allegedly shot dead his stepbrother Irshad over a minor dispute. The attack had also left three other people injured.

Sub-Inspector Chaudhry Muhammad Ikram conducted the investigations after registration of case and submitted the challan along with his findings and evidence. Public prosecutor Chaudhry Muhammad Nadeem argued the case on behalf of complainant and sought punishment for the three accused.

Court awarded death sentence to Ghulam Abbas and imposed Rs 1 million fine on him. Accused Nasir was awarded 10-year imprisonment with Rs 100,000 fine while accused Manzoor was awarded 5-year jail with Rs 100,000 fine.
