FCCI calls for unity, tolerance in Easter message

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Apr, 2026) President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) Farooq Yousaf Sheikh on Sunday extended warm Easter greetings to the Christian community and described the occasion as a powerful symbol of love, peace, interfaith harmony and national unity.

In his message, he said that such celebrations not only bring joy but also strengthen the values of tolerance, mutual respect and coexistence, which are the hallmarks of a civilized society.

Interfaith harmony was imperative for promoting a cohesive and progressive nation, he added.

Farooq Yousaf Sheikh prayed for peace, prosperity and lasting happiness for the Christian community and acknowledged the vital role of citizens belonging to all religions in the development and stability of Pakistan.

He stressed that unity and harmony among different segments of the society were key to effectively addressing the challenges being faced by the country.

FCCI Chief said that the chamber had always remained committed to promote interfaith harmony, brotherhood and national cohesion, and it would continue its efforts in this regard.

Expressing optimism, he said that the spirit of Easter would help promote peace, stability and mutual love in the country. It would also play an important role in strengthening the bonds of unity among the people, he added.
