ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jun, 2026) The Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan on Thursday reviewed its institutional performance during the first six months of its functioning and reaffirmed its commitment to modernization, judicial efficiency and technological innovation, including the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in court operations.
The review was conducted during a Full Court Meeting chaired by Chief Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan and attended by all judges of the court as well as the Registrar, ahead of the commencement of the court’s summer vacation.
According to an official statement, the meeting undertook a comprehensive assessment of the court’s administrative, judicial and operational progress since its establishment and expressed satisfaction over the efficiency achieved during the initial phase of its functioning.
Chief Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan appreciated the dedication and professionalism of the officers and staff, acknowledging their role in ensuring the effective functioning of the country’s newly established constitutional institution.
The participants noted that collective efforts had contributed to strengthening public confidence in the constitutional justice system and emphasized the need to sustain improvements in institutional performance.
The meeting placed particular focus on the continued modernization of the court’s administrative and judicial processes.
The chief justice stressed the importance of aligning the Federal Constitutional Court with internationally recognized best practices adopted by leading constitutional and apex courts around the world.

The judges also discussed the integration of emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance institutional efficiency, legal research, knowledge management, case administration and public service delivery.
The court reiterated its commitment to adopting technological advancements while maintaining the highest standards of judicial integrity and constitutional responsibility.
Recognizing the importance of human resource development, the meeting also reviewed measures aimed at strengthening professional training and capacity-building of officers and staff. The chief justice emphasized regular training programmes to improve skills, enhance service delivery and promote a culture of excellence within the institution.
The Full Court reaffirmed its resolve to further strengthen the Federal Constitutional Court as a modern, responsive and progressive constitutional institution dedicated to upholding the Constitution, protecting fundamental rights and serving the people of Pakistan with professionalism and integrity.
The meeting concluded with a commitment to continued institutional development and ongoing reforms in pursuit of judicial excellence.
