FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jun, 2026) Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Director General (DG) Muhammad Asif Chaudhry has said that the FDA is committed to transforming itself into a “complaint-free” institution and to achieve this objective, the prompt redressal of citizens’ complaints has been placed among the top priorities, and all available administrative resources are being utilized for this purpose.
He said that under the Government of Punjab’s open-door policy, he remains fully accessible to every citizen so that issues related to departmental services can be resolved in a timely and effective manner.
He expressed these views while meeting with those applicants who highlighted some issues relating to FDA during open court organized by the Chief Minister Punjab Complaint Cell team last day.
He listened carefully to the applicants and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officers for the resolution of their problems.
While talking to the citizens, he said that special focus is being placed on further improving the quality of services provided by various departments of the authority and ensuring the timely resolution of public complaints.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>He emphasized that every complaint is dealt with on a priority basis and every effort is made to resolve issues to the satisfaction of the applicants.
Muhammad Asif Chaudhry further stated that the doors of his office remain open to every citizen and that an environment similar to a daily open public forum is available during office hours. Therefore, citizens may directly approach him without hesitation for the resolution of their issues and complaints.
He further said that the FDA’s operation against illegal housing schemes is continuing without interruption and strict action is being taken against violators of the law.
He advised citizens to thoroughly verify the legal status, approvals, development progress, and availability of basic facilities of any housing scheme before purchasing a plot or property so that they may avoid fraud, forgery, and financial losses.
The DG FDA reaffirmed his commitment that all possible measures will continue to be taken to provide transparent, quality, and citizen-friendly services to the public.
The complaint redressal mechanism will be further strengthened to enhance public confidence in the institution, he added.
