FDA directed to take strict action against defaulters

Director General (DG) Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Muhammad Asif Chaudhary has directed FDA officers to take strict measures for recovery of outstanding dues from defaulter allottees and said that plots of those who fail to clear their dues despite repeated notices should be cancelled

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th May, 2026) Director General (DG) Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Muhammad Asif Chaudhary has directed FDA officers to take strict measures for recovery of outstanding dues from defaulter allottees and said that plots of those who fail to clear their dues despite repeated notices should be cancelled.

He issued these instructions while reviewing progress on the recovery of outstanding dues during a meeting held at the Project Management Unit office FDA City.

Additional Director General FDA Qaiser Abbas Rind, Chief Engineer Mehr Ayub, Directors Suhail Maqsood Pannu, Junaid Hassan Manj, Asma Mohsin, Yasir Ejaz Chattha, Afnan Saeed Sindhu and other officers were also present on the occasion.

The Director General instructed that action against chronic defaulters be taken on a priority basis and emphasized ensuring strict enforcement of the law in this regard.

He also ordered rigorous monitoring to curb illegal commercialization in residential colonies under FDA control, directing that properties be immediately sealed where residential premises are being used for commercial purposes without legal approval or where commercialization dues have not been paid.

DG FDA further directed the launch of a special campaign to recover penalties imposed for illegal development in private housing schemes.

He also reviewed the progress of the ongoing plantation campaign under “Plantation for Generation” in FDA City and, while inspecting the condition of planted saplings, stressed ensuring their proper care and maintenance for survival.

He emphasized maintaining security arrangements and cleanliness standards on a regular basis.

Project Director/Director Estate Management Suhail Maqsood Pannu briefed the meeting on the details of outstanding dues from allottees and the progress of the plantation drive, informing that more than 3,500 saplings of various types, each at least five feet height, have been planted in FDA City.
