FDA planted 8,500 saplings

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Apr, 2026) Under the plantation for generations campaign, Faisalabad Development Authority has so far planted over 8,500 saplings against the target of planting 20,000 plants in its jurisdiction.

This was stated by the Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry while planting saplings at various places in the city on Tuesday.

He said that tree plantation was currently in full swing under the authority in the city.

Additional Director General FDA Qaiser Abbas Rind, Project Director/Director Estate Management Sohail Maqsood Pannu, and other officers also planted saplings.

He said that under the campaign, 5,000 saplings would be planted in FDA City, Sargodha road, while 20,000 saplings will be made in private housing societies.
