FDA provides relief to 316 applicants

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Apr, 2026) The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has provided relief to 316 applicants through its One Window Counter during the last three months while 53 applications are currently under process in various departments.

Director General Faisalabad Development Authority Muhammad Asif Chaudhry while presiding over a meeting reviewed performance of different departments and directed to accelerate efforts for providing relief in pending applications without further delay.

Additional Director General FDA Qaiser Abbas Rind, Chief Engineer Mehr Ayub, Directors Junaid Hassan Manj, Yasir Ejaz Chatha, Asim Mahmood, Afnan Saeed Sindhu, Deputy Directors Adnan Shehzad, Afzal Ansari, Iqra Murtaza, Abdullah Noor, Faran Siddiqui, and other officers were present in the meeting.

During the meeting, it was shared that departmental action had been completed on 221 applications related to Estate Management-I, while 46 applications of Town Planning-II, 34 of Town Planning-I, and 15 related to katchi abadis were also disposed of in the corresponding period.

The matters in which relief was provided included property transfers, inheritance mutations, ownership clearance certificates, TP reports, completion certificates, possession slips, issuance of various NOCs, compliance with court decrees, commercialization, and approval of housing schemes.

The meeting was also informed that applications received through the “e-Biz Punjab” portal are being processed swiftly and a dedicated help desk established for this purpose remains active at all times.

Expressing satisfaction over the performance of the One Window Counter, the DG FDA directed that no application should remain pending without justification and that special focus must be maintained on the e-Biz Punjab portal.

He further instructed that there should be no hurdles in providing online departmental services under modern reforms.

He directed incharge officers of various departments to closely monitor staff performance and ensure immediate accountability of negligent or underperforming staff.

In case of any complaints regarding delays or negligence in service delivery, the officers concerned along with the relevant staff will be held accountable, he warned.
