FESCO intensifies crackdown against defaulters to ensure 100% recovery

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Apr, 2026) The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO),engineer Muhammad Aamir on Wednesday directed field teams to intensify action against both running and dead electricity defaulters,stressing that 100 percent recovery must be achieved without any laxity.

Chairing a meeting on recovery performance,FESCO chief instructed officers and staff to take immediate and strict measures against defaulters,warning that no leniency would be tolerated.

He urged field teams to enhance coordination and expedite recovery campaigns in all subdivisions.

Engineer Aamir also ordered door-to-door verification campaigns and legal action against defaulters,including issuance of notices and disconnection of connections for consumers illegally drawing electricity.

He reminded officers that recovery targets for the current financial year were mandatory and daily performance reports must be submitted without fail.

Alongside recovery efforts,he emphasized that consumer complaints should be addressed promptly to ensure improved service delivery.
