FIA Anti-Corruption Circle arrests 10 accused, including POs, in April 5th

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd May, 2026) Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Islamabad Zone’s Anti-Corruption Circle arrested 10 accused, including multiple proclaimed offenders (POs) during a crackdown against corruption in April 2026.

An official told APP on Sunday that the arrests were made in different operations targeting corruption and absconding suspects.

He said the arrested accused included Irfan Hameed Khan (FIR No. 37/25), Agha Hassan Khursheed (PO – FIR No. 92/21), Muhammad Raheel Arshad (FIR No. 109/25), Mumtaz Ahmed (FIR No. 05/26), Rafeeq ur Rehman Sanjrani (PO – FIR No. 24/17), Naveed Ahmed (CA – FIR No.

13/19), Fayyaz Ahmed (FIR No. 04/26), Shahid Nawaz Ahmed (FIR No. 04/26), Muhammad Ameen (FIR No. 2013/26) and Muhammad Waqar (PO – FIR No. 52/23).

The official said the arrests reflected FIA’s continued efforts to ensure accountability and take indiscriminate action against corruption and proclaimed offenders.

He said FIA remained committed to eliminating corruption and upholding the rule of law across the country.

The official said strict action would continue against all absconders and proclaimed offenders, ensuring they were brought to justice.
