FIA arrests agent with 26 passports

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2026) The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Human Smuggling Circle Lahore conducted a raid on a technical trade centre in the provincial capital and arrested an agent involved in illegal activities.

According to an FIA spokesperson, the accused, identified as Imran Khan, was apprehended during the raid, while 26 passports were recovered from his possession.

The spokesperson said the suspect was found involved in human smuggling under the guise of Al-Imran Technical Trade Centre and was operating an illegal office without a valid licence. He added that the accused was collecting passports and money from citizens on the pretext of arranging foreign visas.

Further investigation is underway, the spokesperson said.
