LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Apr, 2026) The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore Zone has arrested two suspects allegedly involved in hawala/hundi and illegal Currency exchange operations,here on Tuesday.
According to an FIA spokesperson,the arrests were made during a raid conducted by the FIA Corporate Crime Circle Lahore in Eden City,Lahore.
The suspects have been identified as Muhammad Rizwan and Muhammad Adnan.
The accused were reportedly engaged in hawala/hundi transactions and unauthorized currency exchange activities.
During the operation,officials recovered a total of Rs.9.15 million in cash from their possession.
Additionally,mobile phones and other incriminating evidence related to hawala and illegal currency exchange were seized.
The suspects have been taken into custody and further investigation has been initiated,the FIA spokesperson added.
