First Hajj flight departs from Sialkot

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2026) The 1st Hajj flight (PF-7702) of AirSial with 157 intending pilgrims on board left for holy land Saudi Arabia from Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) on Saturday (tomorrow).

Incharge Hajj Operations Sialkot, Mujeeb Akbar Shah has said that Hajj flight operations from Sialkot will commence on Saturday (tomorrow) and AirSial flight PF-7702 will depart from SIAL for Medina at 10:15 PM, carrying 157 pilgrims.

Talking to APP, Incharge Hajj Operations Sialkot said that a total of 26 flights, including 21 AirSial and 5 PIA flights, will transport approximately 5,200 Hajj pilgrims from Sialkot to Saudi Arabia.

Mujeeb Akbar Shah added that Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif, along with the Director Hajj Operations Muhammad Rizwan Sharif and officials of Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL), will see off the pilgrims on the opening day.

He said that the Hajj operation will continue until May 21 at SIAL.
