Five drug paddlers nabbed, over 16.5 kg hashish seized in crackdown

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Mar, 2026) Police have intensified its crackdown against drug trafficking and arrested five persons, including a major supplier, recovering over 16.5 kilograms of hashish from different parts of the city.

According to a police spokesman, Sadiqabad Police arrested a key drug supplier and recovered 10.

8 kilograms of hashish. The accused confessed to supplying drugs to various areas of the city, including colleges and universities, and was also a record-holder in narcotics cases.

Dhamyal Police recovered 2.04 Kg of hashish from one accused, while Waris Khan Police seized 1.4 Kg. Similarly, Naseerabad Police recovered 1.2 Kg and Civil Lines Police 1.1Kg of hashish from separate accused.
