Flag hoisting ceremony held to honor Pak-China friendship

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) A dignified ceremony was held at the New Deputy Commissioner Complex Hyderabad to commemorate 75 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.

Deputy Commissioner Zain-ul-Abedin Memon and Additional Deputy Commissioner Saba Israr jointly performed the flag hoisting ceremony.

Assistant Commissioner City Syed Noor Hussain, Assistant Commissioner Latifabad Saud Ahmed, Assistant Commissioner Qasimabad Hatif Siyal along with officers and staff of the Deputy Commissioner's Office, Information department, participated in the event.

Banners highlighting Pak-China friendship were displayed, while Chinese flags were also waved during the ceremony. The event commenced with national songs.

Speaking on the occasion, the deputy commissioner Memon said that the friendship between Pakistan and China had successfully stood the test of time and remains a shining example of mutual trust, cooperation and sincerity. He stated that Pak-China friendship was a guarantee of regional development, stability and prosperity.
