SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Sargodha Hussain Ahmad Raza Chaudhry has imposed Section 144 in and around PAF Base Mushaf in view of security and aviation safety concerns, banning kite flying, drone operations and pigeon flying activities for 30 days.

According to an official order issued by the district administration here on Wednesday, the restrictions also prohibit the installation of pigeon cages, the placement of long bamboo poles on rooftops, and the use of laser lights in nearby areas.

The administration stated that the measures have been taken to ensure air safety and prevent any potential accident or damage to Pakistan Air Force aircraft operating from the base.

The notification warned that birds, kites, laser beams and drones could pose serious risks to aircraft during flight operations, while rooftop bamboo poles and pigeon cages may also interfere with aviation activities.

The order has come into immediate effect and will remain enforced for a period of 30 days, authorities said.
