Dera Ismail Khan, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jun, 2026) The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority (KPFS&HFA) conducted inspections of various milk shops and milk transport vehicles in Dera Ismail Khan and imposed heavy fines on vendors found selling adulterated milk.
According to the officials on Saturday, the Food Safety Team collected milk samples from different outlets and vehicles and tested them through a mobile food testing laboratory during the inspection campaign.
The tests revealed adulteration and quality issues in several samples, prompting the authorities to take action against the violators.

Officials said a large quantity of substandard and adulterated milk was also discarded on the spot to prevent its sale and consumption by the public.
The authority reiterated its commitment to ensuring the availability of safe and quality food products and warned that strict action would continue against those involved in the sale of unsafe food items.
