Four arrested as police recover liquor,pistol in Sarai Alamgir

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2026) Sarai Alamgir police intensified their crackdown on drug dealers and illegal arms holders,arresting four suspects in a series of targeted operations,officials said on Wednesday.

According to a police spokesperson,Station House Officer (SHO) City Sarai Alamgir Inspector Raheel Arif led the raids along with his team,resulting in the apprehension of the accused and recovery of contraband.

Police seized 10 liters of liquor each from Naqash Ahmed and Owais Ahmed,while 5 liters was recovered from Iman Ahmed. In a separate action,Abdul Rauf was arrested and a 30-bore pistol was recovered from his possession.

Cases have been registered against all four suspects while further investigations was underway.
