Four held with drugs, weapons in police crackdown

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Mar, 2026) Rawalpindi police arrested four individuals and recovered drugs, liquor and illegal weapons from their possession.

According to the details, the arrests were made in the jurisdictions of Civil Lines, Sadiqabad, Chaklala and Rawat police stations. The police recovered 1.

63 Kg of hashish, 16 lit liquor and weapons along with ammunition.

Cases have been registered against the arrested individuals and further investigations are underway.

A top ranking police officer said strict action would continue against those involved in drug trafficking and illegal possession of weapons, adding that such elements would not be allowed to disrupt peace in the society.
