Four injured as car plunges into canal

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Apr, 2026) Four people were injured when a car plunged into a canal after hitting

two motorcycles here on Sunday.

According to Rescue sources, the accident took place near Doctors

Hospital on Canal Road where a car lost control and fell into the canal

after hitting two motorcycles.

As a result, three motorcyclists and car

driver sustained multiple injuries. The injured were identified as

25-year-old Aqib, 25-year-old Noor Khan, 21-year-old Shehryar

and 30-year-old Omar.

Rescue teams shifted the victims to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

The cause of accident was stated to be over-speeding.
