Four-member gang arrested for alleged robbery, assault and abduction of citizen in Abbottabad

ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th May, 2026) Abbottabad Police Saturday arrestee a four-member gang allegedly involved in robbery, assault, and an abduction-like incident targeting a local resident.

According to police, the suspects include two women and two men identified as Hasnain Khan and Faisal Khan. A case has been registered against the accused at Rejoya Police Station under FIR No. 355/26 under Sections 392/34 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).

Police officials said the incident began on May 25 when one of the female suspects reportedly obtained a lift from a man traveling from Abbottabad to Jinnahabad and exchanged contact information with him.

After remaining in communication for several days through WhatsApp, the victim was allegedly lured to a secluded location near Rejoya.

Investigators said the victim was allegedly assaulted by the woman and her accomplices, who snatched cash, a mobile phone, an ATM card, and other valuables. The suspects then reportedly moved the victim between different locations and attempted to withdraw money using his ATM card.

Following the registration of the case, Abbottabad Police launched an operation and arrested all four suspects. Police said further investigation is underway and additional disclosures are expected as the inquiry progresses
