Four-member gang involved in car side window theft arrested

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2026) A gang involved in stealing car side windows and mirrors was arrested in Lahore on Monday,police said.

According to officials,the suspects were traced through CCTV footage following which the Ghalib Market police station team conducted a raid in Shahdara and apprehended a four-member gang.

A police spokesperson said that SHO Faisal Nadeem was assigned a special task by the DIG Operations to arrest the suspects,which was successfully carried out.

Investigations revealed that the main accused,Imran,allegedly formed the gang with his two sons,Babar and Danish and a close relative,Farhan.

The group targeted parked vehicles at night and stole side windows from different areas of the city.

Police further said the stolen items were later sold at a shop in Bilal Ganj Market at low prices.

SP Model Town SP Model Town Lahore said four bags of stolen side windows and two motorcycles were recovered from the suspects during the operation.

A case has been registered and further investigations was underway.
