LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Feb, 2026) A free eye camp was organised at Government College University Lahore by the university’s Al-Falah Society in collaboration with Al Mustafa Welfare Trust, attracting a large number of students and faculty members.
A team of eye specialists conducted screenings using modern diagnostic equipment. Free medicines and eyeglasses were also provided to deserving students and staff members.
Registrar Dr Shoukat Ali, Nusrat Saleem, Managing Director of Al Mustafa Pakistan, and Khalid bin Aslam, Medical Superintendent of the organisation’s eye hospital, were present on the occasion.
In his message, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Omer Chaudhry said such welfare-driven activities help cultivate empathy and a sense of social responsibility among students, and also appreciated the trust’s services in community eye care.
