GCWUS launches Project Exhibition

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2026) The Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) on Thursday lauched

Project Exhibition 2026 for students to showcase their talents, a release of the varsity said.

The Department of Physics, Faculty of Natural Sciences, proudly hosted a successful Project Exhibition 2026 at Government College Women University Sialkot.

It provided a dynamic platform for students to demonstrate their scientific knowledge, creativity, and practical skills.

The exhibition aimed to promote innovation, critical thinking, and the application of theoretical concepts to real-world challenges.

The event was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Shazia Bashir, along with distinguished faculty members and departmental heads. Their presence highlighted the importance of academic

excellence and research-oriented learning.

The dignitaries appreciated the efforts of both students and organizers in arranging such an impactful event.

A total of 25 projects were submitted, out of which 17 projects were shortlisted for final presentation.

The selected teams presented their work through innovative models and well-structured posters. The projects reflected a strong understanding of scientific principles and demonstrated practical applications in everyday life.

The projects were evaluated by a panel of esteemed judges Dr Amina Sadiq (Chairperson, Department

of Chemistry, GC Women University Sialkot), Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Abdur Rehman (Director, ORIC,

GC Women University Sialkot), Dr. Shahla Andleeb (Chairperson, Department of Environmental

Science, GC Women University Sialkot).
