GCWUS students exhibit book translation projects

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jun, 2026) The Department of English at Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) showcased book translation projects completed by BS English 8th-semester students as part of their final-year academic work.

According to a university statement issued on Saturday,Vice Chancellor(VC) Prof.Dr.Shazia Bashir attended the event as chief guest and commended the students for their academic performance while appreciating the Department of English for promoting research-based and creative learning.

She said the university remained committed to providing students with opportunities to convert academic knowledge into meaningful scholarly output.

The VC visited the project display,interacted with students and distributed certificates of appreciation among the participants.

The department also acknowledged the efforts and guidance of Dr.Muhammad Rashid Hafeez,Head of the Department of English for the successful completion of the initiative.
