Gilani attends Quran Khawani for late ex-minister's wife

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Apr, 2026) Chairman Senate Yusuf Raza Gilani attended the Quran Khawani at the shrine mosque of Hazrat Musa Pak Shaheed for the departed soul of the mother of Imran-ul-Hassan Gilani, the president of Anjuman-e-Islamia, and wife of ex-minister late Syed Tanvir-ul Hassan Gilani.

The ceremony drew a large number of family members, political figures and notables of the city.

Shrine Sajjadah Nasheen Makhdoom Syed Abu-ul-Hassan Gilani, led the collective prayers, while a large gathering participated in Quran recitation.

Among those present were Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, Makhdoom Sohail Hassan Gilani, Syed Ali Musa Gilani, Hafiz Iqbal Khakwani and other prominent personalities.

Religious scholar Allama Qari Rukn-ud-Din Qadri addressed the gathering. Naat was presented by Hamid Nawaz Asim, Wahid Nawaz and others.

Qari Saeed Sarmad recited the Holy Quran and offered the concluding prayers, while Mazhar Javed Sial conducted the proceedings.
