Gold edges higher on easing Treasury yields

WORLD CAPITALS, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 02nd Jun, 2026) Gold edged higher on Tuesday, supported by lower Treasury ‌yields.

Spot gold rose 0.5 percent to $4,507.56 per ounce by 0420 ​GMT. US gold futures for August delivery gained 0.7 percent to $4,538.

Among other metals, spot silver rose 0.9 percent to $75.49 per ounce, platinum gained 1.3 percent to $1,947.95 and palladium inched 0.3 percent ​higher to $1,366.37.
