Gold price increases by Rs16, 300 per tola in Pakistan

The price increased just a day after historic decline in the local markets.

All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association confirmed the development.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs13,975 to stand at Rs397,858 in the local market.

The sharp rise comes a day after gold prices in the country had dropped by a record Rs43,600 per tola, marking one of the largest single-day declines in recent times.

In the international market, the gold prices also moved upward, gaining $163 to reach $4,413 per ounce.
