Gold prices decline by Rs 500 per tola

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th May, 2026) The prices of gold decreased in the local market on Friday, with 24 karat gold per tola falling by Rs 500 to settle at Rs 474,862 compared to Rs 475,362 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs 429 to Rs 407,117 from Rs 407,546, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went down by Rs 393 to Rs 373,204 against Rs 373,597.

In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $5 to $4,525 per ounce from $4,530.

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs 83 to Rs 8,034, while the price of 10 grams of silver declined by Rs 72 to Rs 6,887.

The price of silver in the international market also decreased by $0.83 to $75.50 per ounce from $76.33.
