Gold prices fall in global and local markets, silver records increase

In international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce decreased by $7, bringing it down to $4,746 per ounce

KARACHI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-April 11th, 2026) Gold prices declined in both international and local bullion markets on Saturday, while silver rates registered an upward trend, according to market updates.

In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce decreased by $7, bringing it down to $4,746 per ounce.

Following the global trend, local gold markets also witnessed a drop in prices. In Pakistan, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs700 to Rs496,962. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs600 to Rs426,064.

Meanwhile, silver prices moved in the opposite direction, recording gains in the domestic market. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs50 to Rs8,064, while the rate of 10 grams rose by Rs43 to reach Rs6,913.
