Gold prices surge by over Rs15,000 per tola across Pakistan

All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association says price of gold per tola surged by Rs15,700, pushing it to Rs504,162 in the domestic market

KARACHI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-April 8^th, 2026) The gold prices in Pakistan recorded a major increase on the back of rising international market trends, with the per tola rate climbing by more than Rs15,000.

All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association said that the price of gold per tola surged by Rs15,700, pushing it to Rs504,162 in the domestic market.

The association added that the price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs13,460, reaching Rs432,237.

In the global market, gold prices also moved upward, rising by $157 per ounce to $4,814, reflecting continued volatility and demand in international trading.
