Gold prices surge by Rs 4,600 per tola

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Apr, 2026) The prices of gold increased in the local market on Tuesday, with 24 karat gold per tola rising by Rs 4,600 to settle at Rs 499,962 compared to Rs 495,362 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 3,943 to Rs 428,636 from Rs 424,693, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went up by Rs 3,614 to Rs 392,930 against Rs 389,316.

In the international market, the price of gold increased by $46 to $4,776 per ounce from $4,730.

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs 326 to Rs 8,260 from Rs 7,934, while the price of 10 grams of silver also increased by Rs 279 to Rs 7,081 from Rs 6,802.

The price of silver in the international market increased by $3.26 to $77.76 per ounce from $74.50.
