In 2026, there will be 264 veterinary interns and 371 para-veterinary interns.
The Punjab Veterinary College will allow new professionals to gain practical experience, which is important for their career advancement.
They will be able to develop relationships between their academic training and the delivery of animal agriculture services. The monthly stipends are attractive to the interns.
Applications for the programme are open until 15 May 2026.
To apply for these internships, candidates should apply through the official Punjab Jobs Portal.
Candidates must check with the Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council to see if they qualify. A provincial helpdesk was set up by the government to assist candidates throughout the application process.
Veterinarians and para-veterinarians will be able to help Punjab grow its meat and dairy export markets, giving the youth the ability to participate in their economy and promote economic development within the province.
