Governor directs to ensure complete safety of Chinese citizens & projects in Balochistan

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Mar, 2026) Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhel on Tuesday directed the Ministry of Home of the Government of Balochistan to take strict measures to ensure the complete safety of Chinese citizens and projects in Balochistan.

He said that keeping in mind the sensitivity of the situation in the entire region, effective security arrangements would be monitored and to keep the officials posted on duty on alert.

Governor said the long-standing friendship between Pakistan and China would secure the bright future of the two countries.

Earlier, the Chinese Consulate General Karachi contacted the Governor of Balochistan telephonically.

He highlighted that strengthening relations with China could accelerate the pace of development of Balochistan.

Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel urged the people to cooperate in the government’s efforts to maintain peace and harmony across the province, as only the joint efforts of the government and the people could make Balochistan a cradle of lasting peace and love.

Governor Mandokhel urged the law enforcement agencies to maintain effective communication with each other so that the overall situation of law and order is maintained in the province.
