Governor felicitates Hajj pilgrims before their departure for Hajj

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Apr, 2026) The Governor of Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi said that he extends heartfelt congratulations to all Hajj pilgrims, adding that islam is a religion of peace and love, and the pilgrims are among the chosen ones of Allah.

He expressed these views while interacting with pilgrims at Jinnah International Airport before their departure for Hajj.

Upon arrival at the airport, the Governor was received by the Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, DG Narcotics, Director Hajj, and other officials.

Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi said that the pilgrims will visit sacred places including Maqam Ibrahim and Jabal al-Rahmah, as well as the place where the Holy Prophet ? delivered the Farewell Sermon.

He said that they are truly fortunate.

He further stated that Islam is a complete way of life and that the pilgrims are ambassadors of Pakistan, urging them to reflect the country’s positive image through their conduct. He presented flowers and gifts to the pilgrims before their departure.

He also urged the pilgrims to pray for Pakistan’s progress, prosperity, and global peace while in the sacred land, expressing hope that their journey would bring them spiritual fulfillment and peace.
