Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi condoles death of Maulana Idrees

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Wednesday visited the residence of renowned religious scholar and Sheikh-ul-Hadith Martyred Maulana Idrees to offer condolences over his demise

CHARSADDA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2026) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Wednesday visited the residence of renowned religious scholar and Sheikh-ul-Hadith Martyred Maulana Idrees to offer condolences over his demise.

During the visit, the Governor expressed sympathies with the deceased scholar’s brother, Maulana Sheikh Yousaf, sons Maulana Anees Ahmad and Dr Salman Ahmad, as well as other family members and religious scholars.

Paying tribute to the religious and national services of the late scholar, Governor Kundi said his death was a great loss for the province.

He said Maulana Idrees remained a strong voice for islam and Pakistan and was opposed by anti-Islam and anti-Pakistan forces.

The Governor prayed for the elevation of the departed soul’s ranks and patience for the bereaved family.
